Job Description
1. He should be DME (Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with Diploma in Industrial Safety) with 7 years to 10 years of Experience working in Factory or any diploma with NEBOSH (National Examination board in Occupational Health and Safety certification.) or Diploma in Fire and Industrial Safety. 2. Knowledge of HIRA (Hazardous Identification Risk Assessment and making preventive actions according to HIRA and training the user for the same. 3. Incident Investigation Analysis and following the department if Preventive actions are made. 4. Frequent audit with Safety Committee to report any unsafe act and unsafe behavior and correcting the same 5. Fire audit. 6. Establishes safety standards and policies wherever required. 7. Knowledge of Fire Extinguishers and Fire Hydrant, and maintaining data on the same. 8. Responding and acting to employee safety concerns. 9. Conduct risk assessment and enforce preventative measures. 10. Stop any unsafe acts or processes that seem dangerous or unhealthy 11. Carry out PTW Monitoring and review. 12. Knowledge on LTI, MTI, first injuries and standards related to that. 13. Conduct frequent training related to safety and health. 14. Trains and carries out drills and exercises on how to manage emergency situations. 15. Knowledge in framing safety metrics and follow the same. 16. Record and investigate incidents to determine causes 17. Conducts investigations of all accidents and near-misses. 18. Lifting materials inspection with maintenance team 19. Aligning with company safety culture and acting according to the company safety. 20. Conducting tool box meeting 21. Weekly safety audits. 22. Safety Review and Safety committee meeting 23. Should be very authoritative and influence people on safety.
